about
I am originally from Paris, France and practice expressionist art. My artistic mentor was Ousseynou Sarr, an internationally renown African painter from Senegal.
Art has been a means of expression for me since childhood, a medium where I could recreate what I found in nature and capture the sensibilities in human emotion. My goal is to paint relatable figures that we can connect to, understand and that stroke human compassion.
The primary medium for my paintings is oil paint on linen canvas.
I continually explore new media for my paintings, such as collage, engraving and oil paint on wood. My exploration in art expands to larger mediums like murals and the modern movements of urban and street art.
